4th Test Stumps - Day 1
At the end of the 1st day Australia was 335 for 3. Rickey Ponting (137*) and Michael Clarke (140*) were standing inside the ground after won the toss. Rickey Ponting has not looked better in the series while Michael Clarke was in touch with the Indian Players bowling. The opener looked in good form in his 110 minute stay before he scooped Ravichandran Ashwin (2-58) to short cover, where VVS Laxman held a great one-handed catch. Rickey Ponting has looked in good standing with Michael Clarke.
